I volunteer for ShelterBox, an international disaster-relief organization, as a member of the ShelterBox Response Team. Our aid comprises emergency shelter and items that contribute to safe shelter, like water purification kits, blankets, school kits, mosquito nets, and more. The team itself is trained to find the best ways to deliver our bespoke aid, and then to hand-deliver it.

It’s among the greatest privileges in my life to represent the good will of the many people around the world who care enough to donate money to aid efforts.

I’m available for speaking engagements and school events, if you know of anyone who’s interested in learning more about what it’s like to work in disaster relief. ShelterBox USA has a nationwide network of volunteers who represent us, if you’re not in my immediate area. Just ask me.
